Murch Yoga Classes – September 2023

Thank you for your interest in enrolling with CLS! We are ready for the School Year 2023-2024 to begin.

Classes are once a week (Friday) and will start Friday, September 8. The deadline to register is August 13, 2023.

SCHEDULE

Each session is 1 hour long. Classes are taught by a CLS teacher at St Paul’s Lutheran Church, across the street from Murch. Before registering, please check the schedule below. Please note that this enrichment class is only available to CLS students enrolled in after-school.

Yoga Class for Pre-K and K – Fridays from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM
Yoga Class for Grade 1st and up – Fridays from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM

DETAILS ABOUT THE CLASS

In a children’s yoga session, we do the same thing as adults… but more fun!
Children tame their bodies through postures adapted to their age, which they approach through stories, games, metaphors, postures with others. But they also discover the benefits of centering, mindfulness, relaxation and conscious breathing. Children are surprisingly receptive to it. Just as for adults, the benefits for them are physical and mental: they build their body image, establish another relationship with their emotions, gain in concentration, attention and self-confidence and learn to manage their energy, but also their relationship to others. Yoga allows them to let go of the pressure: we cultivate the effort in the pleasure, there is no competition and what counts is the experimentation, not the result.

PRICE

The cost is $120/month. This price includes the registration fees.

TUITION FEES
• Pay one month of tuition fees ($120), corresponding to September tuition fees.
After registering on our website and making the first payment online, you will receive an email to complete an authorization form to set up a recurring charge. Tuition fees are due a month in advance and are payable through recurring payments only, which can be canceled anytime. The recurring payment will be set up from September 1st to May 1st, and classes will end in June.

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE PROGRAM
We require a 30-day notice to withdraw from the program. Thus, parents are not responsible for any other payment if the withdrawal form is submitted within this time frame. Withdrawals can be made using this link.
