CLS is a local and independent business that has been around for 17 years. We believe that our extensive experience in creating after-school programs has brought us where we are. All the programs are safe and offer structured after-school time to your children.
We are honored to provide aftercare for the schools we serve, and we can't wait to start another school year!
CLS BAsic AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAM
Our after-school program is held at Brent Elementary School from 3:00 PM to 6 PM, Monday- Friday.
Our basic after-school structure includes snack time, outdoor time, a fun activity together such as arts and crafts for Pre-K through 1st grade, or STEM activities for the upper grades.
CLS does not offer drop ins or an option to sign up for less than 5 days a week. If you register with us and your child will only attend on certain days, please notify us.
Children are dismissed by their morning teacher to our CLS team, inside the building.
Instructions and further details will be sent to families prior to the first day of school.

HOW WILL MY CHILD'S SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?
Typical afternoon Pre-K through 1
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM Attendance and snack time
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM Outdoor Recess
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM Manual activity and/or indoor games
5:45 PM – 6:00 PM Dismissal
Typical afternoon grades 2-5
3:00 PM - 3:30 PM Attendance and snack time
3:30 PM - 4:30 PM Outdoor Recess
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM Homework and/or indoor games including STEM activities twice a week
5:45 PM – 6:00 PM Dismissal
REGISTRATION AND ENROLLMENT PERIOD
RETURNING FAMILIES TO THE SCHOOL
- April 25 – June 20: Your child will start Monday, August 26 (K-5th grade) or Thursday, August 29 (for Pre-K).
- June 20 – September 1: Enrollment will be closed
- After September 1: your child will start 10 business days after we receive your registration. CLS’ Office will confirm your starting date via email.
NEWLY ENROLLED FAMILIES TO THE SCHOOL
CLS reserves spots for newly enrolled families accepted by the administration of the school. New families can register:
- April 25 – August 11: Your child will start Monday, August 26 (K-5th grade) or Thursday, August 29 (for Pre-K).
- August 11 - August 23: Your child will start Tuesday, September 3
- August 24 to September 1: Enrollment is closed
- After September 1, 2023: your child will start 10 business days after we receive your registration. CLS’ Office will confirm your starting date via email.
